11th Grade Social Studies

Eleventh grade social studies often asks teens to think more deeply about government, economics, and global issues. Our 11th Grade Social Studies collection brings together vetted, secular resources for homeschoolers, afterschooling families, and caregivers teaching students around ages 16–17. You’ll find curricula and courses in U.S. history, world history, government, economics, and contemporary issues, along with primary-source-based programs and tutors who guide discussion and research. Every resource is reviewed for historical accuracy, inclusive perspectives, and age-appropriate rigor so teens can build real civic understanding and critical thinking, not just memorize dates. Use the filters to explore by topic (American government, US history, world history, economics, or political science), format (textbook-style, project-based, online course, or unit study), and learner profile, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism, giftedness, or 2e. Many families also connect 11th grade social studies with current events and real-world action. If you’re not sure how to choose or sequence social studies at this level, Modulo’s AI learning concierge can help you pick resources aligned with your teen’s interests and future plans.
