I taught gifted children with Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth. I kept pushing them to tackle more and more complex ideas I introduced them to challenging texts (such as Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning) and asked them to explain and dissect them using questions to guide their efforts. I focused on what they were capable of rather than age or grade level when selecting materials. When teaching children with dyslexia, I focus on reading aloud and identifying the rhythm of language, speech patterns, and rules. For children with ADHD, I incorporate movement into the sessions, as well as using materials with bold patterns and colours
