I’m a senior at Castilleja School in Silicon Valley, and I’ve been coding since the fifth grade. I love teaching coding to elementary and middle school students, especially in Python, Java, and Scratch, and I focus on making STEM fun, creative, and empowering. I’ve worked as a computer science teaching assistant and coding instructor, and I’m passionate about helping kids build confidence as they bring their ideas to life. I’m also the author of The Coding Alphabet and have completed advanced courses, including Harvard’s CS50AI. Outside of coding, I enjoy playing the piano, running track, and exploring how technology can help us better understand the world.

I am available on Saturdays after 2:30 pm PST.

My mission

My mission as a tutor is to inspire curiosity, confidence, and creativity in every student I work with. I aim to make STEM subjects approachable and exciting by creating a supportive environment where kids feel empowered to ask questions, explore ideas, and bring their own projects to life. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right tools, encouragement, and opportunities to discover what they’re capable of.

My Story

I’ve loved coding since the fifth grade, when I first discovered how powerful and creative it could be to bring ideas to life through technology. Growing up in Silicon Valley, I was surrounded by innovation, but I also noticed that not every student had access to the same resources or encouragement to explore STEM. That’s what led me to start tutoring—I wanted to share what I had learned and create a space where kids could discover their own excitement for math, science, and coding. Over time, I’ve taught students in one-on-one sessions and led group programs like Modulo’s coding club. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing piano, running track, and diving into astrophysics and science fiction. Teaching is one of my favorite things to do because I get to help students realize just how capable they are.
