Resilient Panda

Resilient Panda is a set of Asian American history unit study guides that weave living books, poetry, timelines, and open-ended activities for roughly grades 1–6. Current guides focus on Chinese and Korean American stories, inviting families to explore identity, migration, racism, and resistance through age-appropriate narratives. Parents appreciate the gentle but honest approach and the way each unit encourages reflection and family discussion rather than multiple-choice tests. Because Resilient Panda centers Asian American voices and uses flexible schedules, it’s a valuable, relatively low-prep way to diversify elementary social studies.
