My approach to teaching is all about patience, understanding, adaptability, & connection. I believe every student leans differently, so I focus on meeting them where they are, take time to figure out how each person thinks and what helps them feel confident. Once I know that, I break lessons down step by step from complex ideas into clear, manageable steps an make sure each lesson feels engaging and encouraging rather than overwhelming.

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Programming & Information Systems. (Farmingdale State College)

I've worked with high school students and peers to strengthen their skills in math, reading comprehension, and computer programming. During my time at Camp Iconic, I guided campers through activities like robotics & art, helping them build problem-solving skills in a supportive setting. I've also helped friends and family prepare for exams and improve their study habits, always focusing on clear explanations, patience, and practical understanding.

My mission

My mission is to help each student discover and develop their unique strengths while fostering curiosity, confidence, and resilience. I believe that every learner has the potential to excel when given personalized guidance that meets them where they are. I also strive to create lessons that are both engaging and empowering. I’m inspired to tutor because I’ve seen firsthand how patient, thoughtful mentorship can transform challenges into opportunities for growth, and I aim to be the kind of mentor who helps students feel understood, capable, and motivated to reach their goals.

My Story

I was raised in Queens, New York, where my parents served as my earliest mentors, teaching me the value of curiosity, perseverance, and empathy from a young age. From childhood, I recognized that knowledge was a powerful tool, which inspired me to learn deeply and share that understanding with others. I faced my own learning challenges and eventually learned how to work smarter rather than harder, discovering strategies that helped me grasp concepts more effectively and gain confidence in my abilities. This experience shaped my approach to learning and gave me insight into how personalized guidance can make a real difference. Today, I bring that same drive and empathy to tutoring, helping students grow both academically and personally while ensuring they feel supported and capable. Outside of teaching, I enjoy coding, reading, gaming, and exploring creative ways to challenge myself. My family, friends, and community are central to my life, and I take pride in helping others navigate their learning journeys, knowing firsthand how impactful encouragement and guidance can be.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I tailor lessons to each person's cognitive style, using visual, kinesthetic, or analytical approaches to maximize engagement and retention. I've guided people with ADHD, dyslexia, and gifted learners, employing strategies that transform challenges into strengths. My own experience navigating learning differences equips me with empathy and practical insight to foster confidence and growth.

I've worked with gifted people by providing challenging, enrichment-focused lessons that foster critical thinking and creativity. I tailor tasks to match their advanced abilities while supporting social-emotional growth and encouraging curiosity and independent problem-solving.

I've worked with people with ADHD by using short, focused activities, interactive lessons, and freqeunt check-ins to maintain engagement. I incorporate movement breaks and gamified exercises to channel energy productively, helping people stay attentive and confident in their learning.

I've supported people on the autism spectrum by using structured, predictable lessons, clear instructions, and strength-based strategies. I focus on building understanding and confidence while adapting to each person's unique needs and learning style.

I've supported people with dyslexia by using multisensory approaches, breaking reading and writing into manageable steps, and emphasizing repetition and reinforcement. I focus on buidling confidence and fluency while adapting lessons to each child's unique processing style.
