Assi
Assi is a thoughtful, adaptive tutor with a Master of Science in Epidemiology and a BA in Public Health and Environmental Studies. She prepares lessons in advance and then customizes delivery to each learner’s goals, using visual or auditory strategies depending on what works best. Assi has tutored French at the university level and AP French for high school, and also supports algebra and data literacy by connecting methods to meaningful real-world contexts. Her sessions are calm, structured, and encouraging, with clear milestones and reflective check-ins that build independence over time. Outside of teaching she hikes, reads, and experiments with new skills, and she brings that same curiosity and steady encouragement to every student.

I prepare my classes in advance and tailor my teaching style to meet the unique needs and goals of each student. I focus on aligning my instruction with their expected outcomes, using either visual or auditory learning strategies depending on what they are most comfortable with or excel at. This adaptive approach helps foster engagement and supports deeper understanding.
