LearnLibre is an online science enrichment platform for elementary and middle school kids that melds story-driven video field trips with hands-on experiments and follow-up research prompts. Each lesson is delivered by Montessori-trained science educator Zoe Rising and explores real-world settings like volcanoes or observatories. Families love the rich narratives, multicultural presentation, and easily conducted household-based experiments—no lab gear required. What sets LearnLibre apart is its narrative-led pedagogy: it invites children to wonder, inquire, and learn at their own pace, combining digital storytelling with practical science. Homeschoolers often pair it with unit studies or evening exploration time to deepen curiosity and discovery.

Learn Libre delivers standards-aligned science lessons through short, high-quality videos that introduce a phenomenon or question, followed by guided hands-on activities and discussion prompts. Families begin a lesson by watching the engaging “wow!” video, then gather simple materials to explore their own experiments, making observations and answering discussion questions or research challenges in a journal. Lessons include virtual field trips, drawing, labeling diagrams, and optional research extensions so learners can go deeper. Many families integrate Learn Libre as a weekly science day or embed it within broader unit studies, aligning with Montessori’s emphasis on sensory-rich, self-paced exploration and building deep conceptual understanding rather than memorization.
