Patient → I can support students who learn at different paces.
Adaptable → I am able to adjust lessons and methods to diverse learners and situations.
Encouraging → I can motivate students and build their confidence in learning.

Although I have two degrees (Journalism & Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in French), I am self-taught when it comes to teaching but I truly love it.

I have been teaching children since I was first in College and I have a child with Autism that I work with every day.

My mission

I’ve always loved languages and the way they let us connect with new people and ideas. My first career was in journalism, which sharpened my love for expression and clear communication. Over the years, I’ve tutored students from ages 4 to 18, helping them grow in both skill and confidence. I speak Arabic and French with nearly perfect pronunciation and have written extensively in both. I believe learning a language is one of life’s greatest joys—you start thinking and feeling in new ways. My lessons are tailored to each student, blending structure with fun so that learning stays engaging, rewarding, and full of discovery.
As a native Arabic speaker who completed her early education in both Arabic and French, I bring a deep understanding of the language and culture.

My Story

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I have direct experience with both ADHD and Autism through supporting my son, which has given me a strong understanding of the patience, flexibility, and creativity required to keep students engaged. Some of the strategies I use include breaking tasks into smaller steps, incorporating movement or short breaks, using clear visuals and routines, and keeping lessons interactive. These approaches not only help maintain focus but also build confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
