My teaching approach is both supportive and structured. I focus on creating a positive learning atmosphere where students feel encouraged, while also providing clear guidance and academic rigor to help them reach their full potential in German.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a focus on emotional and social development, and German as my minor. I studied at Humboldt-University of Berlin. My academic training has given me both a strong foundation in pedagogy and specialized knowledge in supporting diverse learners. In addition, I continue to expand my skills through self-study and practical experience, combining theory with hands-on teaching practice.

I have taught German to many learners of different ages and backgrounds. With my training in Special Education, I adapt my methods to each student, making the language clear, practical, and enjoyable to learn.

My mission

My mission is to help every student feel confident, supported, and inspired to learn, no matter their starting point.

My Story

I grew up in Germany and, to be honest, school was not always easy for me — I even dropped out of two schools before I found my way. Those struggles taught me firsthand how challenging learning can feel, and they also gave me the empathy and determination that later led me to become a teacher. I went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a focus on emotional and social development, and German as my minor. Today I live in Florida with my family, where I combine my passion for teaching with my hobbies like soccer coaching, motorbikes, and bodybuilding. My journey has shown me that setbacks can turn into strengths, and I bring that belief into every lesson I teach.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

With my background in Special Education, I tailor lessons to fit each child’s unique way of learning — whether they need extra support, a creative approach, or more advanced challenges. I focus on creating a positive, encouraging space where every student can thrive.

Through my background in Special Education, I have experience supporting students who are both gifted and have learning differences. I understand that 2e children often need enrichment to stay challenged, while also benefiting from patience, structure, and strategies that address their specific challenges. My goal is always to balance both sides — nurturing their talents while giving them the tools and confidence to overcome obstacles.

I have worked with gifted students who needed both enrichment and emotional support. My approach is to provide challenging material that keeps them engaged, while also helping them develop patience, resilience, and social-emotional skills. I believe gifted learners thrive when they are both intellectually stimulated and supported in balancing their strengths with areas that may need more guidance.

I have experience supporting gifted and profoundly gifted learners who often need more than just advanced academics. My approach is to provide meaningful challenges while also focusing on social-emotional growth, since profoundly gifted students may struggle with balance, perfectionism, or feeling different from peers. I aim to create an environment where their talents are nurtured, and they also feel understood and supported as whole individuals.

I have experience working with children who have ADHD, both in academic settings and through one-on-one support. My strategies include breaking lessons into shorter, focused segments, using interactive and multisensory activities, and keeping a clear structure while allowing for movement and flexibility. Online, I keep students engaged with visual aids, quick check-ins, and active participation, so learning stays dynamic and motivating.

As part of my Special Education training and experience, I have worked with children on the autism spectrum, supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth. I focus on creating structure, using clear communication, and building on each child’s unique strengths. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to help them feel safe, engaged, and successful. Autism Spectrum is very individual and varies from child to child.

I have experience teaching students with dyslexia and understand how discouraging reading can feel without the right support. I use multisensory methods — combining visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques — to strengthen reading and spelling skills. My focus is on building confidence, reducing frustration, and helping students discover that they can succeed with the right tools and strategies.
