Batool
Batool is a chemistry specialist with a degree in industrial chemistry and over five years of experience tutoring high school, AP, A-level, and college chemistry. They are passionate about helping students move beyond memorizing formulas to actually understanding what’s happening at the particle level. In sessions, Batool starts with a quick check of prior knowledge, then explains each topic from the ground up using clear language, diagrams, and real-world analogies. They build in plenty of worked examples and practice problems so learners can see patterns and feel confident tackling new questions on their own. Batool is patient and calm, and they are skilled at noticing when a concept hasn’t quite landed and circling back with a different approach. They also enjoy working with advanced and gifted students who want to explore chemistry more deeply or prepare for competitive exams.
I am available from Monday-Friday on the above given timings. However, weekends are subject to my availability and student's need.
My approach to teaching is centered on personalization, clarity, and confidence-building. I begin by understanding each student’s learning style, strengths, and challenges so I can tailor lessons to their specific needs. I focus on breaking complex concepts into simple, understandable steps and then reinforce them through guided practice and real exam-style questions. I also encourage students to think critically and ask questions so they develop a deeper understanding rather than just memorizing facts. My goal is to create an encouraging, structured learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and confident in their ability to succeed.
I hold a BS in Chemistry with a specialization in Industrial Chemistry. I’ve also gained practical teaching experience through multiple tutoring companies and volunteered as a blind student educator, which helped me develop adaptable and student-centered teaching skills.
I have over five years of experience tutoring students from various international curricula, including IB, AP, IGCSE/GCSE, and A-Levels. I’ve worked with multiple tutoring companies, helping students strengthen their understanding, improve their grades, and prepare for exams. I’ve also supported friends and classmates throughout my studies, often explaining difficult concepts in simpler ways. In addition, I volunteered as a blind student educator, which gave me valuable experience adapting lessons to different learning needs.

My mission
My mission as a tutor is to make learning chemistry accessible, engaging, and empowering for every student. I am inspired by the opportunity to help students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and discover the joy of understanding a subject that many find challenging. I aim to create a supportive and personalized learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore concepts deeply, and achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
My Story
I’ve always loved helping others learn, which is what inspired me to become a tutor. One of the experiences that shaped me the most was volunteering as a blind student educator. Working with students who navigated learning differently taught me the power of patience, creativity, and clear communication. I learned how to adapt lessons, break down complex concepts, and make learning accessible and engaging, no matter the challenge. Growing up , I was always curious and loved understanding how things worked, which eventually led me to earn my BS in Chemistry with a specialization in Industrial Chemistry. Today, when I’m not teaching, I enjoy creating my own cozy, girly world—decorating my room with lights, collecting candles and essential oil burners, watching movies, and exploring skincare and makeup. Tutoring allows me to combine my love for chemistry with my passion for making learning enjoyable and empowering for every student.
Cognitive Diversity
How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.I approach cognitive diversity by recognizing that every student thinks and learns differently. I always begin by observing how a student processes information—whether they learn best visually, verbally, through step-by-step logic, or through hands-on examples. From there, I adapt my explanations, pacing, and practice activities to match their learning style.
Through my experience tutoring a wide range of students across IB, AP, IGCSE/GCSE, and A-Levels, I’ve worked with learners who are gifted, students who struggle with attention or processing challenges, and students who simply need more confidence-building. My volunteer work as a blind student educator also taught me how to rely on clear communication, creative explanations, and flexible teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
Overall, my goal is to create a supportive environment where each student feels understood, valued, and capable. I adjust lessons so they can learn in the way that fits their mind best—whether that means accelerating for advanced learners, breaking concepts into accessible steps, or building strong foundational skills through guided practice and encouragement.
