Health (general curriculum – KidsHealth in the Classroom)
Designed for PreK through 12th grade health education.
KidsHealth in the Classroom offers a full health curriculum online for free, giving parents a structured way to cover topics that can be easy to skip. Lessons, videos, and handouts address body systems, hygiene, emotions, nutrition, safety, and more, organized by grade band from elementary through high school. Developed by the Nemours Children’s Health System, the content is medically reviewed and written in kid-friendly language, which many families find reassuring. Parents can pick and choose units to build a custom health course that fits their values and state requirements. The materials are fairly school-style, with worksheets and teacher guides, so you may want to adapt activities to your home environment. It’s an excellent base, especially when supplemented with family discussions and real-life practice.
KidsHealth in the Classroom offers PreK–12 lesson plans, videos, and printable handouts for free; no subscription or paywall is required to use the curriculum.
