Recommended Ages

Lego-based Latin stories and activities for upper middle school through adult Latin learners.

Legonium is a web project that uses LEGO photos and stories to teach classical languages and mythology, especially Latin. Creator Andrew Hickey stages mini-scenes with minifigures and captions them in Latin (often with English support), making reading practice feel like browsing a comic strip. Parents and students appreciate the playful visuals and the way repeated vocabulary appears naturally in context. Much of Legonium is freely available online, making it a delightful, zero-cost supplement to more formal Latin study.

Online Legonium Latin stories and lessons are free to access; linked books and print resources are sold separately through external retailers.
