National Organization of Black Chemists & Chemical Engineers

The National Organization of Black Chemists & Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) is the same organization described above, dedicated to building a strong community for Black professionals and students in chemistry and related fields. Through annual conferences, local chapters, mentoring, and K–12 outreach, it provides role models and opportunities that many students might not otherwise see. Families with science-minded teens can explore virtual events, webinars, and competitions often available at low or no cost. For those pursuing chemistry or chemical engineering, NOBCChE can be an invaluable, mission-driven resource.
