StorylineOnline is a free literacy site where well-known actors read picture books aloud, often with gentle animation and close-ups of the art. Produced by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation to promote a love of reading, each video includes activity ideas or guides that extend vocabulary, comprehension, and discussion. Parents love having a high-quality “guest reader” available on busy days or for reluctant readers who respond better to performance. While it doesn’t replace reading together, it’s a fantastic, zero-cost supplement to any home library.
