Jenna is a certified K–6 educator and dedicated tutor who meets each student where they are, helping them grow at their own pace. She holds a B.S. in Education with a minor in Reading from Shippensburg University and a Virginia teaching certification. With four years of classroom experience and two years of after-school tutoring, Jenna has supported students with a wide range of learning differences, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and giftedness. She incorporates student interests, clear structure, and meaningful breaks to keep lessons engaging and manageable. Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading and going for walks.

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I have taught students with all types of learning disabilities. I have been a teacher for 4 years.

I have experience working with students that are identified gifted. I typically try to incorporate things the students will find interning into the lesson and give breaks throughout the lesson to help with the student feeling overwhelmed.
