Abdessalem is a physicist and special educator with a rare combination of a PhD in theoretical physics, a master’s degree in special education and ABA, and a bachelor’s in math education. They help high school and college students navigate algebra, calculus, and physics, from homework support to advanced exam prep. In sessions, Abdessalem begins with a diagnostic conversation and a few targeted problems to understand how a student is thinking, then scaffolds instruction from there. They break complex ideas into accessible chunks, show multiple solution paths, and return often to the “why” behind each formula or step. With formal training in ABA and special education, Abdessalem is especially experienced with autistic, ADHD, and gifted learners and designs lessons that respect sensory needs, processing speed, and motivation. Their calm presence, structured routines, and evidence-based strategies help students feel safe tackling even the most intimidating problems.
