I grew up in India. I always enjoyed studying Math and excelled at it in school and through college. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I have worked for various US and UK based Edtech organizations as a Math tutor and content developer. I enjoy tutoring Math 1:1 online and what drives me to work harder is when I see my students do well in the subject. I love animals, and when not teaching, I play with my cats and dog, cook, read and listen to music!

Monday through Friday 11:30 am to 10 pm EST

My educational approach is student-centered, focused on building understanding through clear explanations, and consistent encouragement. I tailor my teaching to each learner’s pace and style, breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps and promoting active problem-solving.

B.Sc. Mathematics, Statistics and Economics plus a M.A. in Economics. I took part in elocution and debating competitions in school.

A schoolteacher for 2 years in schools in India. A face-to-face Math tutor for a couple of years and an online international Math tutor for 5 years for Grades 1 through 9.

My mission as a tutor is to empower each student to build confidence and mastery in math by creating a supportive, engaging, and personalized learning experience. I aim to break down complex concepts into simple, relatable steps, helping students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine understanding and appreciation for the subject.

My Story

I've always had a passion for education and began tutoring while helping classmates understand math concepts back in school. That spark grew into a career in teaching and curriculum development, where I found joy in simplifying tough topics and seeing students gain confidence.
