Project WILD

Project WILD is a wildlife-focused environmental education program that offers activity guides full of games, simulations, and outdoor investigations about ecosystems, conservation, and human impact. Developed by biologists and educators and coordinated through state wildlife agencies, workshops train adults to use the guides with children in grades K–12. Activities are active and inquiry-based, ranging from migration role plays to water-quality investigations. Homeschool families who attend local Project WILD workshops and obtain the guides use them as a rich, low-cost science and nature curriculum, especially when they want to connect book learning with time outdoors and stewardship.
