Typing/Keyboarding Without Tears

Typing Without Tears, now often called Keyboarding Without Tears, is a digital typing curriculum from Learning Without Tears designed for children in roughly kindergarten through fifth grade. Created by the same team behind Handwriting Without Tears, it uses short, developmentally appropriate lessons, games, and cross curricular activities to teach correct finger placement and computer readiness skills. The program includes age leveled interfaces, teacher dashboards, and printable practice pages, and it can be used on tablets or computers. Families use Typing Without Tears for a few minutes a day to build touch typing habits gradually, often alongside handwriting and writing instruction, without overwhelming young learners.
