I am flexible and friendly , capable of helping the student improve their basic violin skills and or starting right at the beginning level (example holding bow and violin properly). I appreciate feedback from students as to better their lesson experience . I foster a learning mindset and environment often asking questions and reinforcing what we learned in past lessons. I let the student demonstrate what they learn at the end of each lesson and praise them for what they do well!!

Clarence Senior High School Diploma

Ive been a homeschool mother of three for 10 years ! When my children want to play music I’m happy to help them, and love working with them as I do my violin students and always encourage them in their studies pertaining to what they are interested in be it music or academics. .

My mission

I love teaching children and like working with the kids that love learning new things. I’d like to go far with the student and help them achieve the best they can be when it comes to learning the basic fundamentals of the violin ! Music is a big part of my life . I listen when I’m down, when I’m happy and even when I’m in between feelings ! I even love playing music thay I am familiar with , I think that is the best feeling ever!

My Story

I grew up in Clarence and was public schooled. I love homeschooling my kids because it gives me more time with them than I would have if I sent them to school. I loved my elementary teachers growing up which is why I think I have such an interest in educating younger children in music . I started playing violin in my elementary orchestra in 4th grade. And completed the last day of 12th grade orchestra before I graduated high school . I also was in the high school chorale and learned more about sight singing music. I live in the city with my family and love to watch them become interested in music as they grow and learn themselves .

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I haven’t experienced tutoring students with learning differences yet , although I am open and willing !
