My teaching approach is interactive, supportive, and student-centered. I design lessons that are both fun and practical, whether I’m working with children, teenagers, or adults. I adapt easily to the American curriculum (with its emphasis on creativity and critical thinking) and the British curriculum (with its structured approach and exam preparation). I always encourage curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking.

I hold a Master’s degree in English and American Studies, specializing in Language and Literature. I am CELTA-certified (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) and have also trained in Business English and exam preparation, including IELTS, Cambridge exams, and SAT.

I have over five years of experience teaching and tutoring English to children, teens, and adults in both classroom and online settings. I have prepared students for exams, helped young learners build strong foundations in reading and writing, and supported teens with schoolwork and test preparation. I also tutor privately, giving personalized lessons that fit each student’s pace and goals.

My mission

My mission as a tutor is to help students discover both confidence and joy in learning. I believe that every child has unique strengths, and my role is to guide them in turning challenges into opportunities. What inspires me most is seeing students who once doubted themselves grow into independent thinkers who are proud of their progress.

My Story

I grew up multilingual and know firsthand what it feels like to navigate learning differences like dyslexia and ADHD. Those experiences shaped the way I teach today — with patience, creativity, and empathy. I now live in Torino, Italy, where I teach students from around the world, helping them prepare for exams and gain fluency in English. Outside of teaching, I love cooking international dishes, learning new languages, and exploring new places. My journey has been all about connection: with words, with cultures, and with people.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I tailor lessons to match each learner’s needs, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners. I have experience working with children who have dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences, as well as supporting gifted students who need extra challenge. My approach is patient, flexible, and always encouraging, making sure every child feels supported and capable.

I have both personal experience with ADHD and experience supporting children who have ADHD. Online, I keep lessons engaging by using short, interactive activities, brain breaks, and plenty of movement-based or game-like tasks. I also provide structure and clear transitions so students don’t feel overwhelmed.

I have worked with children on the autism spectrum in tutoring sessions. I found that structure, clear routines, and visual supports are especially effective. I focus on breaking tasks into smaller steps, using predictable patterns, and celebrating each success to build confidence.
