Justina is a patient and experienced math tutor with over 16 years of teaching experience. She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and an M.Sc. in Biostatistics. Justina focuses on helping students truly understand math concepts rather than memorize procedures, using visuals, games, and step-by-step explanations to make learning enjoyable. She has extensive experience supporting students with ADHD and gifted learners, adapting lessons to each child’s pace and strengths. Passionate about helping students overcome self-doubt, she teaches with warmth and encouragement. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her family in Makurdi, Nigeria.

My mission

My mission is to help students feel confident and enjoy learning. I’m inspired to tutor because I love seeing students grow and succeed with support.

My Story

I grew up loving math but I had no teacher to teach me. I tried studying on my own but I was not getting it. I failed my GCSE exams and I was compelled to go for remedial studies. I met a colleague who was studying on his own and I decided to plead with him to teach me, from that day, he took his time to teach me maths, i loved it , I passed my remedials and I decided to study maths, after all its a simple subject.
Now I live in MAKURDI, Benue State Nigeria, where I help people all over the world and enjoy tutoring students online, helping gain their confidence back
In my free time, I like reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
Teaching makes me happy because I can help students believe in themselves.
