Subject Expertise

My mission

Apart from being very passionate about teaching, I love spending time with other people so that is why I chose teaching. I am a very cheerful, fun and energetic person.I am also very loving and patient. It is very motivating to know that you are being part of someone 's life in a positive way and helping them with the skills they need in order to reach their goals in life.

My Story

I am from Zimbabwe which is located in Africa. I grew up here in Zimbabwe but at some point I moved to South Africa where I acquired my Bachelor's Degree in Education and also gained most of my teaching experience. My mom was a teacher and this really inspired me to follow her footsteps because she was really kind, passionate and we could see parents and some of her former students coming home to thank her for being part of her life. Teaching is really not just a job but more of a calling.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

According to my experience most students are different and they have different needs. It is important to be flexible or to be like an open book so that every student benefits. You can not teach like you are teaching one type of student. It is important to navigate the level and needs of each student so that your teaching approach or method becomes beneficial to them.

Working with students with ADHD requires a lot of empathy and patience. You have to understand the student 's challenge and you also have to keep calm at all times.
