A graduate of Beijing Forestry University with a degree in Marketing, she has two years of experience teaching both children and adults, helping many prepare for HSK exams and develop conversational fluency. Her relaxed, student-centered approach adapts to each learner’s pace, incorporating games, cultural lessons, and humor to build confidence. Yimeng is passionate about connecting people through language and culture. Outside teaching, she enjoys art, travel, photography, and creating Chinese lessons inspired by food and daily life.

My mission

My mission as a Mandarin teacher is to inspire confidence and curiosity in every student I teach. I believe language learning is not just about grammar or vocabulary — it’s about connection, culture, and communication. What motivates me most is seeing my students grow step by step, discovering that learning Chinese can be both meaningful and fun. I want every student to feel proud of their progress and to see language as a bridge to new opportunities.

My Story

Outside of teaching, I love art, photography, and traveling — they keep me creative and help me bring more stories and cultural insights into my lessons. My life now is calm but full of purpose: I teach, I learn, and I connect with people through language every day.

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I always try to understand each student’s learning style, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners, and adapt my lessons accordingly.
I’ve worked with children who learn differently, including gifted students and those who need more time to focus. My approach is to use patience, encouragement, and creative teaching methods (like songs, visuals, and storytelling) to make learning accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Personally, I’ve learned to overcome challenges with concentration when studying, so I truly understand how important it is to make lessons engaging and supportive.
