To go at the student's pace and to instill in them the confidence necessary to apply the concepts taught in the future. I do use plenty of examples to aid in making the material intuitive and accessible. I have patience and empathy (after all it is Math) for the struggles one may encounter in learning Mathematics at a high level.

I currently have several students with this diagnosis in my Pre-Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra I classes.

I was diagnosed with Autism (Asperger's level) around three years ago and I have taught several students that have been diagnosed with it.
