Everyday - 7pm-10pm : 12pm-3pm
Wednesday - 4pm-10pm : 9am-3pm
Saturday and Sunday - 2pm-10pm : 7am-3pm (circumstantial)

My main approach are through conversation and theories, discussing the whys and hows in helping my pupils understand. From there, I add variations to fit the students (games, practicals, quiz, etc.)

English, despite being technically my fourth language, is my number one language I love. I have never shied-away from the opportunity to learn English. 12 years of formal education, 12 years of additional courses, two decades of self-taught, an 8 in IELTS, and CAE and CPE certificates (but I am more proud of my CAE)

I have taught formally in schools for around 3 years, I have also provided private tutoring for around 1-2 years. Those, and also the walking dictionary for my family as needed.

Subject Expertise

My mission

Studying and learning is crucial, yet we are in an era where instant gratification is strongly rewarded, relinquishing long-term feasibility. It is my hope for people to find again that joy of learning.

My Story

My name is Julian, a 28-year-old from Indonesia. An average person in many ways, the kind you would find right at the top of humanity’s bell curve. Yet, within this ordinariness, I have learnt to be deeply thankful and curious. I value resourcefulness, it teaches me to adapt and make the most of what I have. At the same time, the awareness of untapped potential keeps me moving forward; a reminder that fresh rivers flow, stagnant water rots.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

In my experience, the most optimal approach are both communication and exploration. There is a need to establish understanding and explore things that sparks their interest, from there, we can then slowly guide them to common standards, ultimately allowing them to not just match their peers, but hopefully, surpass them. However, I do know well that it is best if I am to possess the related licenses or certificates before tutoring these children.
