My approach to teaching is rooted in a learner-centered philosophy that emphasizes active engagement, critical thinking, and personal relevance. I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the process, so I incorporate inquiry-based strategies that encourage exploration and problem-solving. By designing lessons that connect to real-world contexts, I help learners see the value and application of their knowledge. I also scaffold instruction to support diverse learning needs, gradually releasing responsibility as students gain confidence and independence. Furthermore, I strive to create an inclusive environment
where every student feels respected and empowered.

My Story

I was born in Algeria and later immigrated to Canada, where I transitioned from a career in medicine to a fulfilling role in education. As a mother of two accomplished children—one a physician and the other a radiologist—I understand the value of dedication, perseverance, and lifelong learning. My personal and professional journey has shaped my approach to education, blending empathy, discipline, and cultural awareness to support learners from diverse backgrounds.

By using clear explanations, visual aids, and interactive methods, I ensure that each learner can engage meaningfully with the material. My goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed.

My goal is to create a stimulating and supportive environment where profoundly gifted students feel understood, inspired, and empowered
