My mission

I love being able to help people understand things they couldn’t before. Seeing the confidence they gain as they gain more knowledge and knowing they will be happy or less stressed makes it all worth it. Hopefully they can be successful in life and I helped even if it’s just a little bit.

My Story

I live in Hawaii but grew up in California and learned a lot from my older siblings. They taught me so much in life and especially a lot with school as well. I love being able to help people learn, teach people new things and teach new skills/techniques as well.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

Adapting to each person’s needs. Some people learn better visually so you need to show all of the work with examples or other illustrations. While others do better by practicing and being hands on.

I’ve taught kids with ADHD and learned it’s best to be patient but don’t let them get completely off track. Just guide them back on track and try to keep them engaged by making the lessons fun.
