Ukuto is a joyful Japanese tutor who blends culture, conversation, and clear planning to help learners speak with confidence. With 3+ years of coaching experience, he has guided more than 100 students to use Japanese in real life. Beginners learn hiragana, katakana, and basic kanji through stories, picture books, and short videos; intermediate learners get targeted feedback on accent, grammar, and tone with time-bound goals. Ukuto studied Business Entrepreneurship at Brigham Young University and builds action plans that balance fun with steady progress. He understands attention challenges and keeps sessions active, focused, and encouraging. Outside teaching, he’s planning a wedding and brushing up on Kansai food slang.

For intermediate levels or higher:
Assessment and coaching: assess the level of proficiency through conversations and give clear feedback on how to improve (accent, grammar, word-use, tone, and so on)

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.I focus on learning and having fun at the same level. If students do not enjoy studying, they do not learn effectively and efficiently. I will make plans that is tailored and fit for each students, including gifted students.
My nephew had ADHD. Though I do not have direct experience teaching ADHD kids, I could talk to the parents on how to have a good time studying with them.
