In order to maximize the tutoring experience for the student, I spend time getting to know the family and the student's unique needs. I then customize my approach in a way that wiill produce success and confidence for the student. I communicate thoroughly and consistently with the family, and celebrate the student's success with the family.

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I have worked with students with various learning differences. My approach is to allow the student's needs guide my approach, as opposed to fitting the student into a standard methodology. One student I had with ADHD, who had underperformed on the SAT, was able to get accepted to his dream school. What a celebration!
