My approach in teaching is always flexible and student focused. I always put my students needs and goals first and then see how we can set up a personalized learning plan for each individual learner.

I graduated high school with a dipoma , then after that I completed a 120 hour TEFL/TESOL certificate.

I have over 4 years of experience teaching English to both children and adults. As a live-in au pair and nanny for 2 years in the USA, I supported children with homework, reading, and language development through fun and interactive activities worked at an all English school where I helped students with grammar , writing and vocabulary. I also helped adults improve their conversational English in informal settings, focusing on building confidence and practical speaking skills in an online environment.

My mission

What inspires me most is watching those “lightbulb moments.” When a child who thought they couldn’t do something suddenly realizes they can ,even if it’s something small — it’s magic. With ADHD kids, those moments are even more powerful, because you know how hard they’ve had to work to get there.I’m also inspired by their energy and creativity. Kids with ADHD often see the world differently, and that perspective is refreshing. Tutoring them challenges me to keep learning, stay flexible, and grow as a person.

My Story

I am currently living in a small town in South Africa , I love to explore new place , try new foods and overall just being adventurous. I love to read and watch Disney movies with my family. We often go on Hikes and like to explore new towns. I became a teacher because I love children with all my heart , and the magic that comes from that is extraordinary.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

When I was an au pair I worked with a learner that had a learning difference. With Autism it is a lot different to teach and navigate lessons but being open minded and patient helped a lot in this scenario. We worked together as a team to figure out an approach and succeeded beyond the expectations of the learner.

Living with and teaching kids who have ADHD changes the way you see the world. You learn very quickly that patience isn’t just waiting quietly — it’s choosing to meet a child where they are, even if that means repeating yourself five times or shifting gears when your plan falls apart. You become flexible, because rigidity doesn’t work when attention spans are unpredictable and energy comes in bursts.

Teaching a child with autism helps you become a more adaptable, compassionate, and skilled educator. It can reshape how you think about learning in general and encourage a deeper understanding of neurodiversity. I lived and worked with a learner age (9) that has autism for two years and I learned a lot of skills and it also helped me as a teacher grow as a person. There’s also a deep empathy that develops. You see how hard it can be for them to focus or control impulses, and it makes you more understanding not only with them, but with people in general. You start to notice the small ways that everyone struggles, even if it’s not visible.
