Lamees holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and has three years of teaching experience. She teaches Arabic and AI and offers coding lessons in Python and Scratch for early learners through elementary grades. She personalizes lessons by first understanding each learner’s cognitive style, strengths, and needs, and she uses scaffolding, multisensory tools, and interest-based projects to help concepts stick. For students with learning differences she provides clear structure, visual supports, and flexible pacing, and for gifted or twice-exceptional learners she offers depth, challenge, and creative exploration. Her online sessions are dynamic and bite-sized to keep focus, with short movement breaks, choices, and hands-on practice built in. Families appreciate her patient, adaptable approach and the practical strategies she gives students to build confidence. She is available most mornings on Arabia Standard Time and enjoys crafting and crocheting outside of teaching.

My mission

My mission is to help every learner feel confident, capable, and seen for who they are. I’m inspired to tutor because I’ve witnessed how the right support can completely change a child’s relationship with learning. I’m driven by the joy of helping students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and realize that they are more than capable of success.

My Story

I grew up in Jordan in a big, loving family, where I learned early on the value of support, patience, and community. From a young age, I was always passionate about learning. I worked hard in school and was proud to be one of the top students in my class. But more than just getting good grades, I found real joy in helping others understand what I had learned. That’s when I knew—I didn’t just want to learn; I wanted to teach.

Becoming a teacher has always been my dream. There’s something truly powerful about watching a student’s face light up when something finally clicks. I believe every child has the ability to succeed when they are taught with understanding, encouragement, and respect.

Today, I’m working toward making that dream a reality. I’m passionate about creating supportive, inclusive learning experiences—especially for children who may feel overlooked or misunderstood. My big family taught me how different personalities and needs can exist under one roof, and that has helped shape the way I connect with every kind of learner.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and continuing to grow as an educator. I believe that every child deserves a teacher who believes in them—and that’s exactly the kind of teacher I strive to be."

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I personalize lessons by first understanding each learner’s cognitive style, strengths, and needs. I use flexible strategies such as scaffolding, multisensory tools, and interest-based learning. For students with learning differences, I provide structure and support; for gifted or twice-exceptional learners, I offer depth, challenge, and creative exploration. My approach centers on making every student feel seen, capable, and engaged, regardless of how their mind works.

I have experience working with children with ADHD, and I understand the importance of keeping lessons dynamic, structured, and engaging. I use strategies like breaking tasks into smaller chunks, incorporating movement or short brain breaks, and using visuals and interactive tools to maintain focus. Online, I keep sessions short and varied, offer frequent check-ins, and build in choices to help them feel more in control and invested in their learning.

I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum and understand that every autistic learner has unique strengths, needs, and ways of engaging with the world. I focus on creating a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment, using visual aids, clear routines, and flexible communication styles. My approach emphasizes patience, empathy, and celebrating each child’s individuality and progress.
