Intended for adults and caregivers rather than children.

Parenting Decolonized is a podcast and community founded by Yolanda Williams that supports families—especially Black and Brown caregivers—in raising liberated, anti-racist kids. Through interviews with therapists, educators, and activists, plus webinars and online groups, Williams explores how colonization, white supremacy, and trauma show up in parenting patterns and how to unlearn them. Topics include gentle discipline, body autonomy, representation, and healing intergenerational wounds. Families use Parenting Decolonized as an ongoing source of reflection and support, especially when homeschooling, to ensure their approaches center safety, dignity, and empowerment for children of color.

The Parenting Decolonized podcast and many resources are free to access; paid Collective memberships start at about $19 depending on tier.
