My mission

My mission is to empower learners through language and cultural fluency. I believe education should be practical, inclusive, and globally relevant. Tutoring allows me to bridge gaps between cultures, unlock student potential, and help learners express themselves with confidence, whether they’re mastering Mandarin, English, or navigating academic challenges.

My Story

I grew up in Pakistan and have taught across China, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, where I supported students from preschool to college level. My journey began with a passion for languages and a scholarship to study Chinese at BLCU in Beijing. I later earned an Executive MBA and a Teacher Training Certificate, which deepened my understanding of pedagogy and strategic learning. I’ve overcome challenges like adapting to new cultures and teaching students with diverse learning profiles. Today, I live in Faisalabad, where I continue to tutor online, write research proposals, and help students thrive across borders. I’m also a tech enthusiast and love troubleshooting devices in my free time.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I personalize lessons by observing how each student processes information, whether visually, verbally, or kinaesthetically. I’ve worked with gifted learners and students with attention challenges, using structured routines, visual aids, and goal-based feedback to keep them engaged. I believe every mind has its own rhythm, and I adapt accordingly.

While teaching Mandarin in Saudi Arabia, I worked with a middle school student who was highly gifted in verbal reasoning but struggled with executive functioning. I designed a structured yet flexible curriculum that allowed him to explore advanced vocabulary and cultural topics while using visual planners and timed tasks to support his organizational challenges. This balance helped him thrive academically without feeling overwhelmed.

While teaching in China, I mentored a profoundly gifted high school student preparing for international exams. I provided accelerated content, encouraged independent research, and guided him through advanced Mandarin literature and cross-cultural analysis. He later received a scholarship for university study abroad.

In the UAE, I worked with a Grade 9 student who was profoundly gifted in STEM. I integrated project-based learning, including coding and data analysis, into our sessions. I also connected him with online competitions and mentorship opportunities to nurture his talent beyond the classroom.

While tutoring ESL in the UAE, I supported a high school student with ADHD. I broke lessons into short, interactive segments and used gamified vocabulary drills to maintain focus. I also incorporated real-life scenarios—like mock interviews and role-play—to keep the student motivated and connected to the material.

In China, I taught a primary-level student on the autism spectrum. I used predictable routines, visual schedules, and simplified instructions to create a calm learning environment. By integrating sensory-friendly materials and allowing movement breaks, I helped the student stay engaged and build confidence in Mandarin conversation.

In Saudi Arabia, I taught a middle school ESL student with dyslexia. I used phonics-based instruction, color-coded reading materials, and audio support to improve decoding skills. I also encouraged reading aloud in small groups to build confidence and fluency.

In Pakistan, I taught a preschooler with sensory processing challenges. I used tactile learning tools, soft lighting, and flexible seating to create a sensory-friendly space. Lessons were short, rhythmic, and multisensory helping the child feel safe and engaged.
