Surf Skate Science is an award winning, K-12 South Florida co-op that turns local beaches and skateparks into hands on classrooms where students learn science, technology, engineering, art and math. We also offer online learning, mailable kits, career exposure field experiences and now have a headquarters for after school and events.

Hands-On Homeschool Program

History Unboxed delivers hands-on and inclusive history kits for homeschoolers. Each box includes crafts, souvenirs, coloring pages, and lessons that bring the past to life. Designed by educators and parents, it’s a flexible, secular curriculum that families love for its creativity, depth, and ease of use.

English language tutor

Degree in English & TESOL cert. Student-centered, patient approach for confidence & independent learning. 5 years experience, including university-level. AmazingTalker Best Teacher awardee. Loves tennis & cultural exchange.

Early learning and Chinese tutor

Reina tutors early learning, ESL, art, Chinese, and psychology with calm energy and adaptable methods. With lived experience of dyslexia, she supports diverse learners using visual aids, goals, and hands-on practice. She’s also an 800-jump wingsuit pilot and skydiver.

Music education tutor

Music educator (B.A., M.A.) with 7 years experience. Uses student-centered, multisensory activities & games to build confidence. Skilled in supporting learners with ADHD, autism, and giftedness. Loves singing and her dog, Loki.

STEM tutor

Chemical Engineer (BSc) with 6 years tutoring experience. Teaches metacognitive strategies & project-based methods for 2e/neurodiverse students. Fluent in EN/ES/DE/FR. Enjoys soccer.

Elementary learning tutor

22 years experience tutoring (M.A. Curriculum). Creates joyful, goal-focused lessons with manipulatives & multisensory activities. Supports ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia, & gifted learners. Loves creating hands-on games.

Russian language and culture tutor

Konstantin teaches Russian, history, and geopolitics with rich context and personalized plans. A professor and interpreter, he supports learners of all levels—including those with learning differences—using visuals, structure, and real-world projects to build confidence and skill.

Writing and humanities tutor

Zachary teaches writing, speaking, and the humanities with a creative, student-centered approach. An MFA and debate champion, he uses storytelling, discussion, and multimodal tools to help learners—including those with ADHD or dyslexia—find their voice and build skills that spark confidence.

Math and ELA tutor

Sabrina tutors math and ELA with structure, visuals, and a focus on steady growth. She’s supported students with ADHD, led afterschool programs with big academic gains, and adapts each session to build trust, confidence, and core skills. Families love her warm, practical approach.

Early reading and writing tutor

Samantha brings over 15 years of experience working with young learners, including those with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. Her sessions are hands-on, creative, and grounded in real-world skills like reading, writing, and sequencing. Families love her energy, flexibility, and the way she makes learning joyful and practical.

Literacy and writing tutor

A Golden Apple nominee and top 5% educator, Alma specializes in literacy, writing, and reading for grades K–12. With 20 years of experience and a TESOL certification, she blends skill-building and project-based learning to boost confidence and engagement, especially for learners with ADHD or dyslexia.

Tutor

Krista holds a degree in Art and has over a decade of experience teaching math. Formerly the sole tutor for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians and a Classical Hybrid school teacher, she has taught 5th Grade Math through Algebra. Now an online tutor, she also helps students prepare for selective school admissions.
