Cath is a multilingual creative educator who blends curiosity, empathy, and structure to help learners grow with confidence. With a Master of Educational Technology and a BA in English and Creative Writing, she has taught across countries and in three languages, adapting quickly to each student’s goals. As an undiagnosed dyslexic who succeeded through systems, perseverance, and patience, she meets learners where they are and designs hands-on, project-based lessons in writing, public speaking, art, and life skills. She thrives in one-on-one and small-group settings, celebrates questions, and is happy to take “information field trips” when a topic is new. Outside of class she writes children’s fiction, creates videos, gardens, paints, and bakes, bringing cheerful energy and real-world creativity into every session.

Curiosity and passion go hand in hand for me. I love to ask questions and uncover what makes you tick which helps me understand how I can help you most. I've taught in many countries and in three languages which makes me a bit of a chameleon who can easily adapt to each situation.

I have a Master of Educational Technology and a Bachelor of Art in English and Creative Writing. Over the years I've taken many other courses and certifications.

One-on-one and small groups are my most favorite way of working. We're all different and by working in this way, I can ensure we both get the best of one another. As a life-long learner, I'm continuously working on improving myself personally and professionally, and I'm never afraid to say I'm wrong about something, or invite us to go on an information field trip for something that's new or changed/ing.

My mission

To bring students to the best version of themselves through belief, love, and encouragement. Never, never, never give up (Winston Churchill)

My Story

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I believe in my students. As an undiagnosed dyslexic, I know all too well what the struggles could be and because of that, my teaching leans heavily on empathy and strength; systems and perseverance; love and patience.

I'm pretty 2e, so I can relate! I had the good experiences, the bad experiences and most everything in between.

It is my belief that children need to be met where they are. Every case of ADHD is different (IMHO) and one strategy might work for some, other strategies might only work for one. The KEY is to understand who the child is and where they reside in order to create the right environment for natural curiosity to blossom.

I went to elementary school in a small country in South America
