The Blossom & Root Early Years Mega-Bundle works by guiding parents through a 36-week open-and-go plan for each level (Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Kindergarten), using short, daily activities designed to spark curiosity and nurture development through nature, art, and play. Each week includes a nature study prompt (like observing weather or insects), a picture or composer study with discussion questions, a kitchen science or early math activity using everyday materials, and an open-ended art project. Parents read aloud from suggested books (library-friendly lists provided) and invite their child to respond through journaling, storytelling, or creative play. There’s no formal academic pressure—just gentle exposure to foundational skills in a developmentally appropriate, sensory-rich, and relationship-centered way. All content is delivered as downloadable PDFs, with flexible pacing and minimal prep required.

A typical week in our curriculum will require around 30 to 45 minutes to prepare for. We suggest looking at the book and supply lists in the parent guide as soon as possible and collecting your materials before the school year begins. Books can be ordered online, found in used bookstores, or borrowed from the library.

Your child should be familiar with blending simple CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words together, such as "cat" and "mat." We do spend some time on reviewing these, but a familiarity with them with help when beginning this curriculum.

Parent or caregiver involvement in the Blossom & Root Early Years Mega-Bundle is central and hands-on, but relaxed and joyful. You’ll guide nature walks, read aloud from picture books, help set up simple art or kitchen science activities, and engage your child in open-ended conversations and journaling. The curriculum is not designed for independent learning at this age—it’s about building connection through shared experiences. Activities are short and flexible, making it easy to follow your child’s energy and curiosity. Rather than formal instruction, your role is to nurture wonder, provide gentle guidance, and create a calm, supportive environment for early learning.
