My mission

My students inspire me to do what I do. They come to me seeking life skills, and I've seen how what I've taught improves their quality of life. In turn, I learn something from every student I teach, and am such, am a walking compilation of the knowledge gained from hundreds of people internationally!

My Story

I grew up in a small town in Oregon, and left for Tokyo as soon as I finished college. 20 years abroad and 9 countries later, I came back to the Pacific Northwest to continue to do what I love, meeting and educating others with the stories and skills I've compiled along the way. Travel is the greatest education, and that has allowed me to be a great educator!

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

I've taught students of all ages, from 3 to 93, and most of them were non-native English speakers! From public and private schools to special needs students, my methods have been effective in producing results that have consistently exceeded the expectations of my employers and students alike!
