Fluent Forever Pronunciation Trainers

Fluent Forever Pronunciation Trainers are self guided digital tools created by opera singer and language coach Gabriel Wyner to help learners build accurate pronunciation and listening skills in new languages. Based on Wyner’s Fluent Forever method and research on spaced repetition and minimal pairs, the trainers use targeted ear training exercises to teach learners to distinguish and then produce sounds that do not exist in their native language. Cards and audio prompts are delivered through an app that schedules review just before users are likely to forget. Older teens and adults use the trainers as a front loaded investment when starting a new language, often noticing that later vocabulary and grammar feel easier once their ears are tuned.
