Xue

Xue holds a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University and brings extensive experience teaching Mandarin to learners of all ages and backgrounds. She centers lessons on project-based learning so students practice language through real tasks and build confidence. Xue uses a mix of visuals, movement, and sound, with stroke order animations for visual learners, songs for auditory learners, and calligraphy or role play for kinesthetic learners. She adapts lessons for students who need extra help with focus by breaking sessions into short, active segments, adding interactive games and regular check-ins, and she challenges gifted learners with idioms and cultural projects. Families appreciate her lively, practical approach and the way multisensory practice helps characters and conversation stick. She has travelled to 50 countries and brings that global perspective into her cultural lessons.
