Cosmoknights
Cosmoknights is a queer sci-fi graphic novel and webcomic by Hannah Templer about underground gladiator-style mecha tournaments where pilots battle to free princesses from patriarchal “marriage markets.” The story combines sleek, colorful art with themes of resistance, chosen family, and questioning inherited roles. Older teens and adults who enjoy complex worldbuilding and character-driven plots are drawn to its mix of romance, politics, and giant-robot action. Because it includes more mature themes and occasional violence, families should preview, but for many readers it’s an exciting example of inclusive, genre-bending storytelling.
