My mission

Empower students to reach their full potential through personalized learning and support.

My Story

I was inspired to tutor when I first started teaching in the classroom back in 2017. I was motivated by the police academy students. I never knew teaching could be fun and engaging. I love to motivate and inspire those that I teach.

Cognitive Diversity

How I adapt to students with diverse intellectual needs.

To effectively teach a gifted child, focus on personalized learning, provide enrichment opportunities, and foster a growth mindset. This involves differentiating instruction, encouraging self-directed learning, and offering challenges that extend beyond the standard curriculum. It's also crucial to address their unique emotional and social needs.

I believe that it is important to incorporate movement, visual aids, and hands-on activities, while also breaking down tasks, providing clear instructions, and offering regular breaks. Building a strong rapport with the student and using positive reinforcement are also crucial for success

Teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder requires a tailored approach that considers their unique learning styles and sensory sensitivities. Key strategies include using visual supports, structured routines, clear and concise language, and positive reinforcement. It's also important to adapt teaching methods to individual needs and incorporate the child's special interests to enhance engagement.

Using multisensory instruction, providing explicit and systematic phonics instruction, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Additionally, incorporating technology, offering accommodations, and encouraging a growth mindset are crucial for success.
