PCs for People is a nonprofit that refurbishes donated computers and offers low-cost devices and internet service to eligible individuals and families. Homeschoolers with limited tech access can apply for desktops, laptops, and hotspots, making online classes and digital resources more feasible. Parents appreciate knowing that machines have been wiped, repaired, and come with basic support. Eligibility requirements apply, but for qualifying families, PCs for People can dramatically lower the financial barrier to reliable educational technology.

Eligible low-income households can buy refurbished desktops starting around $25 and laptops around $50, with subsidized mobile hotspot internet plans beginning around roughly $11–$15 per month depending on location.
