1st Grade Tutor

Our 1st Grade Tutor collection is for families whose children around ages 6–7 would benefit from extra support as they learn to read, write, and work with numbers. Homeschoolers, afterschooling families, and caregivers can connect with vetted tutors who specialize in phonics, early reading, handwriting, early writing, and foundational math, including counting, addition, and subtraction. Each tutor is reviewed for experience with young kids, playful and reassuring communication, and a secular, developmentally appropriate approach; profiles highlight experience with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or gifted traits in early learners. Use the filters to browse by subject focus, availability, hourly rate, and goals such as reading readiness, confidence-building, or gentle challenge.
