9th Grade Tutor

Starting high school can be exciting—and overwhelming. Our 9th Grade Tutor collection is designed for homeschoolers, afterschooling families, and caregivers who want targeted support for teens around ages 14–15. You’ll find vetted tutors who specialize in high school English, algebra I or II, geometry, biology, world or U.S. history, and executive function skills such as planning and organization. Each tutor is reviewed for subject knowledge, teen-friendly communication, and a secular, learner-centered approach, with profiles highlighting experience with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, giftedness, or 2e students. Use the filters to search by subject area, availability, hourly rate, and focus—whether your teen needs catch-up support, challenge beyond school, or help adjusting to high school workloads. Many families use a 9th grade tutor as a steady anchor during this transition year. If you’re unsure what kind of tutoring structure would best support your ninth grader, Modulo’s AI learning concierge can suggest tutors and schedules tailored to your teen’s goals and energy.
