10th Grade Science Fair Projects

Our 10th Grade Science Fair Projects collection supports teens around ages 15–16 as they take on investigations that require deeper content knowledge and stronger analysis. Homeschoolers, afterschooling families, and caregivers will find vetted, secular project ideas in biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, and engineering that emphasize experimental design, statistical thinking, error analysis, and clear communication. Projects are chosen to be challenging yet realistic within teen schedules and home or community lab constraints. Each idea is reviewed for safety, scope, and developmental fit, with options for ADHD, autism, anxiety, or 2e learners who may need clearly defined steps. Use the filters to sort by subject, difficulty, time, and material demands. If you’re unsure how to choose a tenth grade science fair project that’s neither too simple nor overwhelming, Modulo’s AI learning concierge can recommend topics and planning strategies customized to your teen.
