Online Program

Nautilus Homeschool is a complete, literature-based K-12 homeschool curriculum for intellectually curious kids who love to read. Our approach rests on three pillars: a strong verbal and math foundation, a focus on great books, and the flexibility to create an education program that is uniquely suited to each student. The curriculum is compiled from carefully curated books and other external materials. This allows the student to benefit from the world's best educational sources in each subject, and it creates space for the inclusion of great books on a wide variety of topics.

Stephen is a certified English teacher with over ten years of experience helping grades 4–12 and adults with reading, writing, ESL, and test prep focusing on clarity, confidence, and strong communication skills.

Science is WEIRD is a narrative-driven online science program covering six years of physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, earth science, and zoology through funny videos and optional deep-dive PDFs that encourage real scientific thinking.

Free Workshop

A recorded two-hour Science is Weird workshop where learners explore axolotls’ strange biology, evolution, and history and consider why these regenerative salamanders are endangered using interactive discussion designed for ages 8–15.

Bharti is an educator from India with over a decade of experience and degrees in finance and education blending analytical thinking and student-centered teaching to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence.

Local Club

A Friday afternoon Dungeons and Dragons campaign run by a local youth Dungeon Master where kids and teens collaborate on imaginative adventures in a relaxed drop-off style setting.

Teen Takeover at Brooklyn Apple Academy is a weekly Sunday hangout where homeschooled and unschooled teens cook, game, read, make music, and work on projects together in a relaxed social space.

Thursday Field Trip Day takes students across the five boroughs and beyond to museums, factories, treatment plants, beaches, and parks while teaching city navigation by bus, tram, train, and ferry.
