Reading Tutor for 6th graders

Our Reading Tutor for 6th graders collection supports learners around ages 11–12 who are expected to read more demanding texts across subjects. Homeschoolers, afterschooling families, and caregivers will find vetted, secular tutors who help students strengthen comprehension, vocabulary, note-taking, and reading stamina. Every tutor is reviewed for training in evidence-based literacy approaches and for a teen-respectful, strengths-based style, with profiles highlighting experience with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or 2e readers. Use the filters to sort by availability, hourly rate, and focus (comprehension strategies, nonfiction and textbook reading, literary analysis, or reading confidence). A sixth grade reading tutor can help students handle heavier reading loads in middle school and beyond. If you’re unclear whether your child needs decoding support, comprehension work, or both, Modulo’s AI learning concierge can recommend tutors and approaches based on your learner’s current challenges.
